"Dead Stick Steve" and I went out Striper fishing, and to blow the cob webs out of the boat that had accumalted over the winter. We first ran full throttle out to Keyport, only to find the water looking like Yoohoo from all the rain we had few days past.So now it was run to the "Clam Beds". We arrived about 8 a.m. and set up on anchor. After about 4 hours of fishing we had no keepers, just short Stripers, around 20 inches and loads of skates.
It was just a beginning!
